These terms cover your use of MockRep, a free AI mock-interview and interview-prep tool. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What MockRep is
MockRep uses AI models to generate interview questions, model answers, feedback, resume reviews, company briefs and similar results from the text you give it. It is a practice and coaching aid. It is not a recruiter, a career counselor, a lawyer or a financial adviser.
2. AI output has no warranty
- AI results can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Company profiles, salary figures and scores are estimates.
- We do not promise a job, an interview, a particular score, or any outcome from using MockRep.
- Check anything that matters (facts, dates, numbers, claims on your resume) yourself before you rely on it or send it to an employer.
- MockRep is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using it or from it being unavailable.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of what you paste or upload (resume, job description, answers). You give MockRep permission to process it to produce your results, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only submit content you have the right to use, and do not include other people's private information.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not break the law, or use MockRep to harass, deceive or harm anyone.
- Do not try to break, probe, overload or bypass the limits of the service, or scrape it automatically.
- Do not submit malware, or content that is illegal or that you do not have the right to share.
- Do not use MockRep to make automated hiring decisions about other people. The recruiter screening tool gives suggestions only; a human must make the decision.
- Do not use it to pass off AI-written answers as proof of skills you do not have in a real assessment where that is not allowed.
We may limit or block use that breaks these rules or that puts the service at risk. The service has daily free-use limits.
5. Accounts
An account is optional. If you make one, keep your password private and use a real email address. You can delete your account and all saved data at any time from My history using Delete account. We may close accounts that break these terms.
6. Free service, and changes
MockRep is free to use today. We may change, pause or stop features at any time. If a paid plan is introduced later, it will be described clearly on the site before you are asked to pay for anything, and these terms will be updated first.
7. Our materials
The MockRep source code is published under the MIT license in its public repository. The MockRep name and logo are not covered by that license.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date above. Using MockRep after a change means you accept the new version.
