Cookie Policy

Short version: MockRep sets one cookie, and only if you log in. It has no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.
Cookies we set
- ip_session - the login cookie. It is set only when you log in or create an account. It holds a random token (stored hashed on our server) so you stay logged in. It is HttpOnly and SameSite, is marked Secure on HTTPS, and lasts about 30 days or until you log out. Without it you cannot stay signed in, so it is strictly necessary and does not need a consent banner.
Other things stored in your browser
These are not cookies and never leave your device. They keep the app working and can be cleared in your browser settings:
- Your resume-builder draft.
- Your voice-mode choices (accent, voice, speed).
- A "first visit" flag so the guided start screen shows only once.
- A cached copy of the app shell so the page loads quickly and can be installed on your phone.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies or ad networks.
- No third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Our own visit counts use no cookies at all; see the Analytics section of the Privacy Policy.
- No social media widgets or embedded third-party content.
Your choices
